And I Have No Time For The Liberal Party Of Canada

Another day, another embarrassing moment for this most incompetent government. A government of emotional fools is what it is.

From Duclos's awkward explanation of the government's ridiculous changes at Service Canada (removing of mother and father with Parent 1 and Parent 2), to Morneau's incomprehensible tax proposal changes that hurt the middle-class while finding himself in a controversy about his own finances and conflicts of interests right up to the PM himself - insert scandal or controversy of your choice (of which there are many to select from) here.

It's clear at this point the Liberals have an agenda increasingly disconnected from what Canadians want. And they're reacting, predictable, in typical liberal arrogant fashion by showing impatience and disdain for those who disagree with them and employing appeals to emotions as Climate Barbie McKenna does here in this clip.

Watch for yourself.

There were some doozies in there. 'I have children' and 'we're doing this for the children' and 'I have no patience for' and 'we have a plan' and 'hard things are hard' and 'we're saving the planet.'

This from a Minister of the Environment and Bull Shit who jets sets around the world leaving a carbon foot print bigger than the average Canadian will ever leave.

Her 'I have no time' quip especially seemed to raise the ire of the journalist. You're a bloody civil servant and he reminded her job is to listen to all Canadians.

All vapid talking points that amount to absolutely jack shit. Their plan is to impoverish Canadians (via things like carbon taxes) to 'save the planet'. A plan that NO COUNTRY will observe or follow. We all know the Paris Accords were a complete and utter toothless fraud and an exercise in virtue signalling. India and China coyly made sure their "promises" won't impact their growing economies, while the Americans, rightly, pulled out seeing this as a unworkable plan the world expects the USA to subsidize. Never mind Obama had no authority to sign it.

It would be foolish for the Liberals to submit Canada, with its branch plant economy, to such nonsense.

What's refreshing is the journalist, well, doing his job as a journalist. It's about fricken time the media speaks for Canadians in such a meaningful way. I actually came away from it pleased and happy he pressed her like he did.

The more he pressed, the less she was able to sell her con. He exposed her for the shallowness of the 'plan'.

Good job CTV.

We need more like this. If the media would have more balls like this, they wouldn't be in such trouble with the public across the West.
