It has been years and years since Dick Irvin has called a Montreal Canadiens games and the darkness that ensued has never lifted.
I don't know why CJAD chose to end their relationship with Irvin but I never agreed with the decision.
Each time I watch the uber-legendary Vin Scully call Los Angeles Dodgers games I'm reminded of the fact Irvin could still be part of the Montreal Canadiens radio broadcast team.
