I've read a lot on Obamacare. Still don't get it and it seems plenty of Americans too. It's a disaster waiting to happen. It clearly wasn't well thought out. I mean, when you have The Daily Beast skeptical you know it's an epic fail in the making.
Given the political baggage, they should have done the wise thing, step back and start over.
Instead, it's hideous. Who knows what the ramifications will be?
Personally, I think it - cynically of course - was designed this way on purpose to pave the way for single payer. Destroy private insurance and move on.

Was listening to POTUS On Call on Sirius today discussing gun control. Sound, intelligent, people from across the country got their chance to weigh in on the various bills and ideas pushed about by the government. Honestly, as I listen more and more, the most rational and sober takes on all this come from those who question Obama and the authorities. They factually and logically look at each case and wonder how the bills as designed and presented could have prevented any atrocities in the past or how they can preven any in the future.
I think they hit on something. Each case is different thus making one-size fits all bans all the more absurd.
