I don't see how Maclean's article is an attack on Quebec as much as it asserts its political class is corrupt.
Hello. It's not like it's that far fetched in its content. Heck, most (if not all) of it is true. Don't skirt the issue by claiming it's a "vicious attack" and objectively refute the assertions claimed.
Quebec can dish it out. It should be able to take it as well once in a while.
The reaction to it is mostly exaggerated and thin skinned.
Yawn.

One person worried what a piece like this can do to anti-Quebec sentiment. Earlier I mentioned Quebec dishes it out. They don't seem too concerned when they talk about corruption in Ottawa or Washington and how that can lead to "anti-Canadian" or "anti-American" sentiment. Quebec has made its fair share of dubious assertions.
Like I said. You dish, expect to take.
