My daughter has expressed interest in two things: learning an instrument and martial arts. At first, she wanted to play the trumpet - easy there Louis and Dizzy. I kindly pointed her to other instruments like the guitar and piano. Being the indepedent, hard-headed Calabrese that she is, she opted for neither and suggested the violin.
I like the violin.
Next was to choose a martical art. She settled on karate.
She will also be learning Italian. Her French is coming along. She speaks a mean Gaspesie accent. I kid.
Now to whip my budding Paganini into shape:
