It's Official!

With the arrival of my permit and the city okaying our renovation plans, I now officially own a day care center.

Now. To fill that sucker up with 57 kids.

  4. No, I'm 100% private.

Libertarians aren't "against" government; anarchists are. Minarchists want minimal government involvement. Libertarians believe in two things: right to property and all is ok until it is coerced. They accept or tolerate government so long as they don't coerce people into doing something they would otherwise do.

It really is a simple philosophy - and one I like.

As you know, I've been steadfast in my realism concerning accepting the state and its role to play in society. Aside from infrastructure and society it has a say in matters. We just have to figure out a way to avoid as much as possible the "one-size fits all" solution to social problems.

This is where libertarianism comes in handy. It reductes the individual's reliance on the state and pits responsobility, accountability and innovation on the sovereign people.

Until that happens, we're not really a free people. As it stands, the pendelum swings in favor of the state.

  6. Ah, I missed the joke. Whooosh! My apologies.

I'll be involved but yes, I'll give leeway and respect. I want happy workers. Workers are happy when you entrust them with important tasks and duties.

I'll also have a cappuccino machine.
