I was just going through that thread and I thought that I needed to comment, at least to you, that one thing that I learned is that most people are centrists, whether they are politically active or not.
ReplyDeleteSpeaking for those who are politically active, you should give credit to us because whether it is with or without sound reasoning, we are the people who as a rule prevent one-party states, changing dirty governments, and thus, keep democracies democratic.
Still speaking as a centrist who probably thinks too much, I believe that I have a fairly consistent philosophy, but it is always shifting, mostly to the libertarian right these days. I judge things more by individual issues rather than just follow the party line, even if it is Green.
