The Health Minister recently made a perplexing, if not preposterous claim that we don't know if China is lying about the virus and proceeded to accuse journalists of spreading conspiracy theories.
The media is a lot of things and Lord knows I have problems with it but peddlers of conspiracy theories isn't one of them.
If this is what how the government is going to proceed in dealing with China moving forward two things should happen.
One, the government must fall. This is not taking an enlightened approach. We're dealing with a country that lied and is still lying about the virus.
Two, Canadians should be very angry about China and how our government seems to bend over backwards to protect them.
The Liberals, don't be fooled, are still not showing they have our backs. Until I see some strong statements that don't have a whiff of bull shit political correctness, I have no confidence any measures undertaken are from the perceptive of what's best for Canada.
Either Hajdu is lying or is that much of a useful idiot like her cowardly, imbecilic boss.
Once all this is done, we MUST treat China as if this is a Cold War.
We must consider making it illegal for China to buy our companies. We must begin the process, as Trump has said as far back as 2014 and has proven to be beyond correct, of bringing manufacturing back to Canada, America and Europe.
We must form an alliance with Russia, India and Europe to hold the line against communist China.
We did so with the Soviet Union and we must do so with China.
And if the Liberals aren't going to do it, it is our DUTY to an elect a government that will.
