If you wonder how ISIS could be so vile and devoid of any shred of humanity the best guess I have is it's probably by design they rape, torture, and bury alive children. The first is obvious, they're innocent and defenseless. Cowards with a barbaric edge to them will always prey on the weak.
But, more to the point I think, it's to scare the civilized world into simply accepting they mean business.
As to children sold into slavery or given a gun. Well, that's straightforward enough. They are easy to indoctrinate after all.
Gotta keep the dream alive.

The Supreme Court of Canada has given physician-assisted suicide the okay.
From a freedom of choice perspective, this is a good thing; although not sure why we need the government to get involved. Moreover, I'm rather skeptical of the public health system to handle this as they claim.
Politicians assure us it's just for 'terminally ill cases' .
Nice and all but it won't happen that way.
Just take a look at what's happening in Belgium and Holland. They too believed it was going to be just for open and shut 'terminally ill' cases. As we now know, doctors are pretty good at stretching what that means. Here, I invoke the origins of the anti-smoking campaign. It was never 'supposed' to go as far as it has - and it hasn't stopped.
Anyway. Heard someone applaud the ruling thankful they live in a progressive and rational country like Canada.
Perhaps.
But recall progressives were at the forefront of the eugenics movement and doctors too can believe in all sorts of nonsense and quackery as that anti-vaccine surgeon in Arizona reveals as well as how they were intoxicated by Nazi propaganda about superior genes.
Currently reading a book on the history of German soccer.
Yeah. Interesting things they believed their doctors.
