At Least Canada Got To The Point

The health care reform proposals tabled by the Democratic party of the United States now hovers around 2000 pages. It's insane. Just on that premise alone Americans should reject it outright. Who in their right mind will read all that crap? Earmark after earmark after earmark after earmark after earmark after rambling after rambling.

By contrast, the Canada Health Care Act is, what, 15-20 pages - if that? And it's under severe strain! Imagine what awaits the Americans. No wonder some down there are freaking out.

Does that make Canadians more effective writers?

Relax there, supporters of the Canadian public system, here's the case for a review of the National Health Care Act.
