I speak of your mysterious flip-flop on masks.

To those of us who have been scrutinizing this moral panic from the onset, it wasn't lost on us how officials changed their minds on masks never once showing evidence  for them to this very day. And they can't because the overwhelming evidence and data on masks being ineffective remains the RULE not the exception. 

Arruda (and the incompetent copy catters at Sante Publique) falls in this category. 

He correctly pointed out why masks are ineffective for a while until he embraced them.

Had he fallen prey to another fallacy among many during the hysteria? That is, the theory of asymptomatic spread.

See. Officials were so gripped by irrational fear and how it was going to impact their useless careers, they swallowed whole any specious pseudo-scientific claim that was hurled.

Bukkake oads of bad science flowed into their mouths.

Early during the false-alarm pandemic the unethical and possibly criminal Tony Fauci correctly (I say correctly because I dove into the historical literature which confirmed this) said asymptomatic people were never the main divers of outbreaks. The World Health Organization confirmed this fact in June. What was the reaction? Not 'phew, ok let's not jump on this mask bandwagon'. Nope, it was consternation from the public and public officials. The ignorant mobs had already bought their torchers and pitchforks blinded by fear. Asymptomatic people were to be the New Jews and scapegoated. This remains a very dangerous situation as we head into the fall. Lurking in the back of the minds of terrified peasants is their suspicion of healthy asymptomatic people walking around silently killing them. And the politicians are all but set to sacrifice them to the peasants to save their petty and pathetic careers. 

Then he switched to accepting the droplet/asymptomatic theory and masked up the people. 

Yadda, yadda, yadda....the rest is history and Quebec idiotically clings to this false narrative not backed by solid science.

Arruda himself is on record saying if you don't wear a mask you're responsible for killing people. He never had to retract this despicable and irresponsible assertion not backed by science. He's not alone, Several journalists over the past 16 months repeated this outrageous lie. Heather Mallick at - where else? - The Toronto Star (Covid fear porn central along with the epidemiological flunkies at the University of Toronto) said as much. Gee, wonder how many these two nitwits killed when they were asymptomatic of diseases including influenza?

Asymptomatic spread, bottom line, is RARE and droplet transmission is NOT the main source as the virus is aerosolized. What does this mean? It means masks are long past their due date and all mandates related to them must end. For good. Permanently. 

Right to this day, our clown leaders still showcase themselves like jesters in a court parading around in masks before the cameras.

When will they realize they look and sound like superstitious fools?

They may as well give free Tarot card readings at this point.

I accused our medical and public officials of deceit and medical malpractice.

I will add malice soon if they keep to this preposterous position.

Alas, in the end, all these people are just a reflection of the will of people. Ultimately, this mess falls on US. Not on any one person. It's easy to fault Fauci and others but the blame can be squarely afflicted to our foreheads. We allowed the media make heroes of people who were anything but because we wanted to believe the people in charge knew what they were doing and had our best interests at heart.

As we can plainly see, erm, no.

So the power is within us to take charge of our lives.

We should not leave it to a bloated, broken bureaucracy.
