No, it's not.
Here in Canada - a sensible nation the American left always threatens to escape to whenever they have a hissy fit - we have voter ID. I have to produce an ID for all levels of election from municipal to provincial to Federal.
It's the one area the ideologues running Ottawa haven't attempted to attack.
Voter ID ensures there's no shenanigans (like we see in the U.S. - again mostly from the American left accused of getting illegal aliens to vote) at the voting booth.
There's nothing racist on any level about it and no one complains about it.
Hey, even minorities lawfully do so! So much for the poor and minorities not being able to get one.
Democrats lie through to their teeth about this because, well, it keeps their race obsessed narrative going as they patronize minorities. How preventing voter ID is good for America is a perplexing one for a Canadian where such innocuous requests are accepted.
It's taken to understand it keeps integrity in check in the democracy.
