And so it is with the Canada Declaration on Electoral Integrity Online charter.
This government isn't interested in 'democracy' but just concentrating more power into the party. It wants all news to be streamlined into government approved agencies and sources. Hence why they gave half a billion to media. Nice little bribing going on.
In return, of course, the media and journalists will be sure to 'have his back'.
None of this is good for freedom of speech or expression.
Let alone democracy.
I wonder where all the rock stars are. We never seem to see much protesting from them whenever a liberal government is in power. Much like their cousins to the south, liberal celebrities tend to put principals over principles.
