Legends Of Soccer: Video Clip

You'll never see such candidness in contemporary sports. Everything is so carefully scripted with softball questions.

It's a shame really. Here you have one of the all-time great players and managers in Brian Clough in a public spat with highly-regarded Don Revie over Clough's firing after just seven weeks at Leeds United.

It sounds as though this was not a good fit to begin with, nonetheless, Clough felt he wasn't given enough time to shape the club. Clough went on to lead Nottingham Forest to back to back Champions League titles in the mid-1970s as well as a Super Cup to go along with an English domestic championship and four League Cups.

There are a few colorful characters in sports indeed (Brian Burke for example) but current conditions in sports don't really allow for GMs and coaches to go at it so intimately on tv.
