Good. Fuck 'em hard. Know why? Because being afraid of nuclear is irrational.
That's why.
And that ain't no scary, libbertairan from some conservative pop school. No siree, Bob and Bill. Nope. 'Man's fear of nuclear technology' is written by an Oxford professor.
I even linked to an article from Harvard that basically said 'gun-control was fucking useless but that never finds its way into the hyper media that loves to feed off the flesh of ignorance.
I wonder if the people responsible for shutting the plant down will be held accountable in any way. You don't have to laugh so hard. It's rude. And hurtful.

Speaking of irrational. Boy, nanny-staters are really losing their fiendish minds over e-Cigarettes. Not even the Golden Globes are safe. One would think by now someone would have sat this fuckheads down and explained to them it's not actually a cigarette.
Alas, this is the face of modern irrational behavior.
Explain to me how this is not a modern day Salem witch hunt? Witches, e-cigarettes, sodas - whatever- nothing backed by science.
All driven by good intentions.
Which, in the end, equals evil.

We were saying about freedom?
Democrats look to pressure networks over climate change.
Ah.
Let's see - flips through pages - yes, control of media and ramifications.
I have a different view of nuclear power plants. I am not so much afraid of them as I am of the people who will be working in them. You see, I worked for the phone company and saw, first hand, the quality of workers. I also know a woman who, while in her twenties, worked on the San Onofre plant (the stories she tells about "close enough" strategies and drug use by the construction crew would curl your hair). The only possibly redeeming quality of the potential workers is they would be looking out for themselves first... This might make them act in our best interest also. Take a look at the Three Mile Island post-incident report and look at the number of alarms disabled...
