Wow.
Cato Institute published a 'Botched Police Raids' visual.
Highly disturbing.
How is this not a police state again?
And doesn't that mean tyranny has set in?
Oh, come on now! These are just isolated incidents! Anecdotal at best.
Sheesh.
The infractions? Anywhere from depositing money the Feds feel were to small all the way to mistaking bottled water for beer (to which multiple, trigger happy under cover agents descended on a frightened 21 year-old who tried to escape since they didn't properly identify themselves. They then charged her with trying to elude police - all for buying a bottled water).
They kill humans and dogs in the process with scant reprimand. Ah, them with guns, that's alright! Private citizens? No, that's just crazy.
This is outrageous.
This is the price for security?
Have Americans become so apathetic to have lost their minds?
Well, with all the hero worship that goes on it's no surprise a certain 'above the law and citizens' attitude sets in.
I see that here in Quebec sometimes.
