No, that wasn't a typo. Read it here. That's gotta be a milestone of some sort.
122 speeches and he's not even one year into his term! What...is...going...on?
When I was growing up we had a friend who used to always call for "meetings" to resolve this issue or to "strategize" things. Or to ask permission to date a former girlfriend. It was all so...Godfatherish. And it was comical so we went along with it, if anything to hang out. He was a skillful speaker but whatever he tried to accomplish, didn't usually work out because in the end, it was usually much adu about nothing. By the end, we simply ignored it.
That's the feeling I get with Obama. I mean, yesterday it was talking to kids with a bizarre speech and within 48 hours he wants to talk to mommy and daddy. Is he worried about something?
Is he going to blame Rush Limbaugh for his inability to articulate whatever this Obamacare is at this point? I can't wait to see what he has to say. Political reality TV at its best.
With 112 speeches in, what, 270 days or something, that's some ratio. If Obama were a baseball player, (is he going to show people his NFL picks for a survivor pool?) he'd make the Hall of Fame hands down.
Is anyone remotely CRITICALLY assessing this administration or are they all just blaming his tumultuous first year on right-wingers, Glen Beck, and racism? You know you have a problem when Limbaugh and Beck are part of your strategy.
Has it occurred to anyone in the Democratic ranks that maybe, just maybe, the public just isn't buying into anything they're saying regarding health?
Obama has to reestablish his credibility tonight and then disappear for a while. Give the camera a rest.
