As the adverse events mount and more and more children sadly added to this avoidable statistic, an obtuse and dislogical (my word) and immoral view has set in in the minds of an irrationally petrified population.
When confronted with the statistics on the aggregate regarding deaths, it seems people have deceived themselves into thinking this is acceptable for the 'greater good' and worse, is God's will.
Suddenly faith matters.
When it suits them.
On a couple of occasions now I've been treated to comments (even from those who say they work in the sciences) where they accept injuries or deaths in children in an effort to get to herd.
One day we will look in shame and embarrassment at this moral panic.
The sacrifice of children is perfectly fine to Godless cowards.
