Of Biometrics And C-10

Canada is cynically making the most of this Covid charade.

And it is a charade at this point.

As the United States moves on, Canadian officials and media continue to perpetuate a hysteria mostly because they can.

And they do so because the Canadian people let them. I don't think the news has arrived in Canada that this is a bioengineered disaster and that our perception of this virus needs to shift. That is, the idea Canadians worked themselves up thinking they were 'going to war' with a virus has to shift to a real wa stance against China. 

As for the United States, it will need to get to the bottom of what Fauci and NIH was up to. Was the Pentagon involved?

As with all panics, cynics adhere to the political axion of 'never let a crisis go to waste'. And Trudeau and Canadian agencies are up to the task showing Canada can be a world leader in draconian thinking.

Canada Borders Service Agency is one trying to capitalize on Covid by 'racing' to install a biometrics program for travellers.

It all ends up in one place: Loss of privacy rights and more controls. Was this really necessary? Of course not, the virus is going to be gone or at least not a threat very soon but all this Orwellian world is forever - for you safety.

The joy of life will one day be joyless. It's not hard to see where this is all going. Go pick up a sci-fi novel. 

As fo Bill C-10, where biometrics rids you of your privacy, C-10 robs you of you freedom to speak.

If you're not principled or have no opinions and specially have no intentions on publicly displaying your opinion, then C-10 means nothing to you.

But it means a lot to others and more importantly to our ability to think freely and openly as a species.

All C-10 is wholly unnecessary, undemocratic and a travesty.

Sadly, it's just another example of a long list of actions laws passed by the neoliberal party of ideologues and rubber stamped by a completely pointless and useless Senate made up of individuals reminding us of our nepotist tradition.

Canada is essentially done as a free country. In 2019, the chance was there to send Trudeau on his way but enough Canadians gave him a pass for his poor leadership and scandals. Any other person would have paid the price for the SNC-Lavalin and WE charity scandals for his blackface, sexual harassment charges and travels with Aga Khan.

Yet he still stands.

Which begs the question, who is propping this weak man up? And by that I don't mean in the Parliamentary sense because we all know it's the NDP and Bloc - both collectivist tribalist parties with no concept or respect for the dignity of the sovereign man. 

Canada and the USA are in big trouble.

We're not free and haven't been so for quite some time. 

I'm no longer optimistic. This whole thing has to collapse and rebooted.
