Canada Needs To Urgently Rethink Its Covid Response Immediately

This article in the Globe & Mail basically confirmed two things in my view.

1) The Great Barrington Declaration was close to the truth than not.

That Sweden made the right call all along from the onset and Norway, Finland and Belarus soon after. Same with Georgia, Texas, Florida and the small state that refused to lockdown from the beginning South Dakota. They and Sweden were the two pariahs in 2020. The GBD was drafted by three eminent epidemiologists from Stanford (Dr. Bhattacharya), Harvard (Dr. Kulldorf) and Oxford (Dr. Gupta).

Not to mention former Lt. Col. David Redman here in Canada who has challenged the initial and continued response.

2) That prominent virologists and experts like Vander Bossche (vaccine designer who among other places worked at GAVI), Montaigner (a Nobel prize winning scientism), McCollough (highly regarded doctor), Bhkadi (one of the most cited scientists in German history), Yeadon (former Pfizer VP) and several others all warned against the vaccines putting pressure on the virus thus producing potentially more dangerous variants.

They cautioned against rushing the vaccines was problematic and were in danger of creating more dangerous variants. Whereas, had stayed calm and manage it soberly like Sweden, the virus would have run its course. Perhaps it would take time but of the two imperfect options, natural immunity is the least unpredictable than what the long-term impacts of the vaccines could confer. Ignoring long-term effects will be our greatest miscalculation. 

The worry for those on the opposite side is natural immunity will lead to more deaths but this can be offset significantly by one thing we have refused to do thus far: Administer early treatments with Ivermectin and HCQ.

The idea there are no empirical studies showing it works 100% is preposterous coming from the same people who scream 'do anything and everything' to fight the virus. The main argument for masks was that while it's true evidence showed they were ineffective, there was no time to wait for studies to be conducted and that all measurers should be imposed on the precautionary principle. The second part were lockdowns that have unleashed catastrophic collateral damage that caused deaths other than Covid.

All this make mockery of the claim we can't administer treatments for lack of evidence. 

Our entire response was based on lack of evidence and science.

Ivermectin has shown to be highly effective. Indeed, it is not a panacea but doctors should have access to all available remedies and tools to combat the virus. Denying them this option is medical malpractice of the highest order. 

Why it matters.

Basing policy on little else by fear leads to bad outcomes. 

Simple as that. Perhaps it's time we consult the axiom 'patience is a virtue'.

Compliance isn't virtue.
