His vintage years were, of course, during the "jazz"/"big band" era. But he did manage a couple top-40 pop hits during the "rock and roll" era as well. Specifically THE THEME FROM THE THREE PENNY OPERA (also known by its more familiar title MACK THE KNIFE) and, of course HELLO DOLLY.
I especially liked the way she was able to craftily finagle her way through the rest of the song when it became obvious she actually forgot the lyrics to the final verse. A true professional veteran singer.
