Not Impressed With Montreal Police

Watching the police act like union tugs the other day as they attacked City Hall really left a sour taste in my mouth. The police are not above the law and they most certainly don't have the right to a different set of laws and standards than citizens. Had regular folk done this, they'd suddenly enforce the law, but when they do it, who will be there to arrest them?

Those officers who stood by and did nothing while their colleagues stormed City Hall must be brought to face justice and should be fired in my view.

As well, I do not stand as a taxpayer for them vandalizing public property by plastering cars with stickers nor am I all that enamored with their move to wear camouflage pants. At the moment, they're not acting professionally at all.

I can't see how this helps them in the public eye. Unless, of course, they don't care which is very likely.

The public sector has a sense of entitlement that seems to be going off the rails on this continent.

****

Three words to start the process of reminding public unions who they serve:

Right to choose.

***

Police forces across the continent are under duress from the public - and with good reason.

Take Philadelphia.

They're about to put a criminal back on the street.

Any other person would languish in prison. This is piece of shit not only gets back to work but keeps his pension.
