Every Three Seconds A Bad Article Appears On The Internet

"A cop is killed every 58 hours..." according to Malkin's stats.

I so call bull shit.

As pointed out, it includes accidents and, who knows, heart attacks and other unfortunate deaths.

I think it's safe to ignore this strawman at attempting to shield police from the fact they've become highly militarized (thanks to politicians who have allowed it) and are in some cases literally getting away with murder.

Plus. I hate those sorts of statements 'every X hours.' More often, you can flip that the other way around. For example, how innocent people do cops kill? I bet you it's more than 'every 58 hours.' Or how about the number of families law enforcement in tag team with the courts and lawyers destroy for minor offenses thus eroding communities? Impossible to measure that.

Neo-con, law enforcement tripe on the part of Malkin.

    You'd lose that bet.

Not that I am condoning all shootings by police but that things are not always what they seem and we all too often let our emotions rule over logic.

    1. That's why I don't gamble. Will read the link later thanks. As for the incident that sparked all this, Michael Brown, it's amazing how every single time something like this happens there's a rush and jump to conclusions before all facts are in.

    2. But Malkin is still trying to sneak a slider though with her stats.
