Meh. I never liked that empty, puerile campaign slogan 'Yes we can' much anyway. It's as if the Democrats put their marketing in the hands of some young intern.

I too read Mad magazine from time to time. I hate paying for it at the newsstand, just a little too expensive (last time I got an issue I stole a beat up copy which was the last one at the store; well, hell, I wasn't gonna pay full price for a mangled copy, was I?). Not as good as in its heyday of course, when William Gaines was still running the "usual gang of idiots" and the mag had no advertisements.
ReplyDeleteI do think the economy may sink Obama. The bad thing is, the US is heading for a real economic crisis, and Romney will do no better politically, at least, if he takes over the White House. What a mess!

ReplyDeleteRomney can definitely win. In addition, he comes in with more substantial credentials and experience than Obama did in 2008. I also like his business background - not that it necessarily means a good thing.
It still blows my mind how he pulled it off in 2008. He deserves credit for that.
