As usual all is not right nor all wrong in that blog. Nice take on who does or does not pay taxes. Of course the lowest paid people do not pay as high a percentage of their revenues in taxes...but then, through various exemptions it is well known that some very wealthy people do not pay taxes either. Had AIG bought paper or letterhead no money would have gone back to the government? What about the sales and value added taxes paid on those purchases? I don't know if Obama's fortune is "purer" than the other's but wether Liberal or Conservative politics are a rich man's club. The main difference is that some belong to augment the wealth of the wealthy others, clumsily and even inefficiently, try to spread it around to the less wealthy.
