Good riddance! They were neither right or left, and therefore held none of the virtues of the two sides. "Centrism" to them meant militarism and pro-bankster, pro-oligarchy policies.
It was illconcieved and the Harperites intruded big time to impose their ideology on a reportedly independant body. T.C. I did not comment recently for two reasons 1) I was too damn angry at some of your posts to comment in a civilized way; 2) You post so much that it would be a full time job to do so.
The DLC, the CRTC and other federal "independant" bodies have been regularly interfered with by Harper and his cronies who have driven some of the officers to "resign" to be replaced by more complacent people. For small government advocate, the conservative government as been butting in on everything. Anyhow, you are right of center and I'm left of center on many issues though, at times, we both come near the center. Only I know, or I think I do, when I would be wasting large band for nothing. As for some other blogs out there, you have noticed that I do not comment on them.
