The disastrous American pull out in Afghanistan is going to shape the future of foreign affairs for years to come. In one single, thoughtless, irresponsible and incompetent move, the Biden administration just handed over Afghanistan to the Taliban.
And not just the Taliban but ISIS and Al-Queda as well. It's all the same thing anyway. One is honey nut Cheerios, the other apple & cinnamon and the other oats.
All Cheerios.
What did the Americans do?
Well, they basically threw away 20 years of blood, sweat and tears for....well, no is sure including Joe Biden apparently.
It's known the U.S. and Western allies wanted to draw down the mission in Afghanistan but no one saw this kind of pull out coming.
It was pure chaos and mayhem.
And it cost lives.
Now the Taliban are poised to be recognized by China and the United States have effectively ceded all influence in the region. It's reminiscent of Obama's failure in Syria which saw Russia fill the power vacuum. Oh. And the Taliban now have possession of $85 billion worth of American weapons which they will soon be using on U.S. troops when the confused and illegitimate clown administration decides to go back in.
Of course, the White House is gaslighting the world with Orwellian gibberish talking about how successful the mission was and that it's all Trump's fault.
Naturally, there are people who eat this up. Probably the same people who download QR codes and wear masks while triple vaxxed.
What a mess.
Elections have consequences indeed.
