And so begins yet another draconian measured imposed by the dictatorial decree of Francois Legault as the vaccine passports begins its noxious reign of tyranny on this September 1, 2021.
We've crossed the Rubicon and there is no turning back.
During this medical nightmare the CAQ have subjected people to, they have crossed many lines relishing and embracing just about every unscientific health orders there is to impose from masks to lockdowns to curfews and now, possibly the most unethical and abhorrent of them all the vaccine passport.
As it stands, Quebec is the first and only of the 60 states and provinces to cross over into segregation along vaccine status. The Federal government under Justin, naturally, applauds this initiative. Hopefully, come September 20, a change of government will reverse this policy. Ontario, led by a weak man like here in Quebec under Doug Ford, cracked, as did British Columbia, and imposed a passport as well come September 13. It remains to be seen how far they will go (Quebec has gone the furthers with the restrictions and one would not be crazy to assume they will go even further) with their scheme.
UK, USA, Denmark, Spain and others are not joining France and Italy down this preposterous path. The WHO and Israel recently announced - suspiciously - a new digital ID frontier. We should and must resist it. They're using Covid as a cover to erase hard fought personal freedoms.
It's an awful slippery slope and can of worms to open.
I'm still in shock with all this.
Legault can run but he won't be able to hide from this failed and despicable legacy of anti-democratic and anti-scientific buffoonery and tyranny. That goes for Arruda as well.
If they have any honour, they'd resign.
