What made this remarkable episode all the more intriguing is the fact that 38 witnesses (though the number has ranged from 37 to 47. Not that it matters) saw or heard the attack and not only did nothing but did not go and help her.
They just silently closed their drapes so to speak.
This is how I view the liberal media and general overall apathy of citizens of the West when it comes to Christian persecution and murders in Africa and the Middle East.
Oh, it's real. I've read pieces on progressive sites either down playing or denying it. Sort of how they said there is no border crisis and that it was manufactured.
At the moment, one can use the car thermometer on your dash as a metaphor for the zeitgeist. When you see the needle on the meter warning your engine is over heating you add anti-freeze to cool it.
Right now, our civilization in the West needs some cooling.
And you're not getting it from the progressive left or the Democrat and Liberal parties. They want to over heat and melt the engine. Once the car stops functioning (the people), they will add their own anti-freeze and take control.
Except, the engine is already destroyed.
