When The Law Fails

I really hope there's a special place in hell for prosecutors and law enforcement officials who are supposed to find the truth and protect the public do the opposite in an effort to further their careers.

“The whole case rests on the confessions,” Britt said, “and the DNA evidence threw those confessions under the bus.”

I find it hard to believe Johnson Britt didn't know the methods probably used in getting confessions out of mentally challenged people were questionable to begin with.

They all know they're throwing innocent people in prison. On death row no less.

May they rot in hell.

On this story alone one can easily conclude it's best to abolish the death penalty. Humans are wretched creatures on either side.
