Interesting to note that in the years where Republican Presidents spent, Democrats held the House and Senate which they did for four decades in the post-war era.

    I would like to see a creditable source comparing the national debt similar to the one listed at Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_debt_by_U.S._presidential_terms

    I do not always trust what is listed at Wikipedia so would like a creditable source link with this data listed in the same manner.
