The Big Yawn Will Keep Canada On Its Current Trajectory

Until we see the likes of scribes Coyne, Ivison, Kinsella etc. and their smug, shallow, predictable, and tedious stake takes are gone or replaced, Canada continues its trajectory into a post-nation state hell hole. Just knock it off with your TDS nonsense already.

Coyne's out there retweeting fricken Acosta and the Lincoln Project, how he thinks the carbon tac is great and once said Biden is 'sharp as a tact'. Or something silly like that.

All continue to laughably and ludicrously promulgate the idea that masks and lockdowns are rooted in science. And arrogant about it too.

They like to think themselves bad asses posting punk songs meanwhile they bow to pseudo-science like good Pavlovian Dogs suffering from Stockholm Syndrome.

False equivalence galore with them to boot and none are above hyperbole.

The Big Yawn is what I call it.

No chance in hell Canada leaves the WHO and Paris Accords. None. Not even under Poilievre. That takes balls of which we have little here.

We need to first condition and deprogram the colonials to understand that these organizations and treaties are not in our best interests.

The idea of working through these spent forces is outdated.

The entire Canadian "intellectual" class has little to offer. They give the impression less of providing intelligent guidance and more of lashing out cluelessly of a real change that's taking place.

Whoosh.

Ditto for our political class. It's not a serious country run by serious people easily rattled and quick to over react.

Retaliatory tariffs? Insanely irresponsible. But this is what passes as leadership now in Canada.

Trump smells weakness. He doesn't hate it as the mundanely mendacious mediocre Freeland brazenly thinks. She further thinks Trump is afraid of her. Yes, I'm sure a guy who stared down mobsters and ruthless leaders is afraid of an authoritarian with a likability score approaching below zero who once froze banks accounts (something Trump never did. So he's already better by an order of magnitude) is afraid of our CETA-crying Chrystia Freeland. Uh-huh. Sure. Whatever you tell that non-existent flag in the morning. Or maybe she's just that - toxic. The idea she thinks she can unify Canadians is ludicrous. Trump also uses high pressure sales tactics to read the room.

And boy did we show our hand. All I could do is sit and face palm listening to the geniuses ruling the colony.

What about Carni Mark? That guy's vision is blurred.

This is what passes for "science" in Canada now. Teaming up with Bill Gates and and green grift company Deep Sky to suck up the carbon (an element that sustains life) out of the atmosphere.

Who said quackery was dead?

We owe our prosperity and wealth to resources. It's our lifeline. Imagine fucking around with this. Now, because of Trump, people are demanding what I used to argue in university poli sci classes in the 90s only to get blank stares and push back. I argue then we needed to bolster the military and start at least the process of diversifying our economy and trade deals. The usual insipid and naive 'no one would invade or hurt' Canada' came back as responses. There was no getting through to them.

So we made a bed. Now we want to undo it. All of a sudden the colonials realize spears aren't gonna cut it. But here's the problem. It's way too late now. Canada pride and nationalism is fleeting and was what I always suspected - hollow. Self-righteous and proud in its "anti-American' envy.

Canada is gonna do jack shit. Like they did nothing about foreign interference. We're a playground for criminal activity. We're the Ukraine of the West. It all blossoms here.

Canada's motto is 'Take no Action'. But try to be cool about it while pretending to think we're the best.

The Big Yawn. Like I said.

If this is how they see things then it's time for not only a change in government but an overhaul of the Liberal party mindset.

America is once again moving and shaking. It takes America to drive our civilization. Expect the colonials to react as colonials do. Act and think like colonials be treated as colonials.

America is out of the WHO and Paris Accords. That will save trillions. They're off the woke-wagon.

They're reestablishing and reasserting their identity. No more bull shit.

I'm happy for America. A weak America is not good for the world. I wish it would be so here.

Canada, for its part, continues on its path to becoming the West's first failed state.

You get what you think.

Rise Of The Lilliputians

Canada's "intellectual" and political classes are asking Canadians "rally" around Justin Trudeau and his unelected Canada-USA Council that includes the likes of Rachel Notley and others.

Who is Flavio Volpe? I don't care he has an Order of Canada. Those things are worthless. I want to know how he and his pals at the Lilliputians of the Wobbly Table presume to speak for ME or other Canadians in a prorogued Parliament?

Maybe I need to be spanked but I have a huge problem with what Justin Trudeau did and these people expect us to just close ranks with them? Why did Justin bring on left-wing activists to deal with an ELECTED Trump administration?

They live in another realm.

What the heck is Kinew going on about 'Canadian pride'? That ship sailed during Covid, pal. The Emergencies Act and direct assault on civil liberties may mean jack shit to you but they do to me.

Why would I close ranks with people who attacked and assaulted the civil liberties of Canadians during Covid?

Motley was just about as fiendish as any during those dark anti-human, anti-science and unethical days.

Then there's this beaut from Bob Rae.

"...we all need to join together in defence of Canada and the rule of law, facts, and fairness."

In Canada? Are you fucking kidding me? Rule of law? In Canada? SNC and EA, anyone?

And Trudeau. What more can we say? Is there any demographic he hasn't pissed off in his nine years of imbecilic rule?

Millions he upset.

Millions.

Then they have the audacity to ask we stand with them? You want me to stand with a person who has no moral authority to govern and has locked the country into a 77-day dictatorship?

Yeh. Pass.

Just go away already, Justin.

I have no faith, trust or respect whatsoever in this bunch.

Go start an unnecessary trade war based on thin-skinned faux nationalist bull shit you Lilliputian imbeciles.

The Court Jesters And Free Citizens Are The News Now

Maher on the Pallisades.

Every single thing he says here can be applied to Canada.

Woke central with high taxes and little quality services to show for it and a lot of empty platitudes and lecturing and hectoring from the gatekeepers and political class.

If you want a really hard sober take on it, just go to Carolla's X account. He's been pounding on this for years and before it was cool. It's hilarious how he shows Newsom no mercy or respect to his face.

Let's keep on the comedian as commentators track for a second.

It's pretty amazing how many of them have churned out successful political shows that surpass actual political shows in audience size and views. Just goes to show how the line between cost jesters and gatekeepers has been blurred. People no longer respect or trust whatever comes out of the legacy mainstream media machine.

Tone deaf, blind, arrogant, paternalistic, and just plain nasty at times. It's hard to read Tweets from regimists posting as "journalists" at CBC, MSNBC, CNN, CTV, WaPo, LA Times. NYT, Toronto Star and so on. And yes, I focus on the left because they're by far the worst of the bunch. They're the ones who scream in shrill hysterics about needing censorship to fight disinformation.

Everything the left touches goes to shit. I used to be subscribed to great liberal publications like The New Republic and The Atlantic in the 80s and 90s. They were excellent reads. No more. Now, they're unreadable far left rags. If you want to read actual socialist or communist takes just go to Motherjones or The Nation. Or even Jacobin. The mainstream is just an incoherent, unprincipled mess mish mash of chasing current things that enlightens less and divides more. Event the once great classical liberal The Economist has knelt before Zod bidding for government narrative officialdom.

My old stomping grounds at Reason magazine has also lost a bit of its footing. Covid wasn't its finest hour. It has treaded a little to close to the left-wing line in recent years. Still, better than most. Unfortunately, it destroyed its comments community - known as Reasonoids - which for the time I was there had the best comments on the Internet bar none. It was that good. All things must pass.

True free thinking is hard to come by. And even dangerous these days. People are being questioned, fined and even jailed for opinions. Not in Russia. In the so-called free West. I'm looking at you Germany and UK. And Canada is not too far behind. USA needs to get its act together or else it too will find itself in trouble.

As a friend used to tell us before a hockey or soccer game, "fuck these assholes."

Dore, Maher, Carolla, and Rogan have massive audiences. Why? Because they're talking about things people want to hear and most of the time their opinions reflect how people feel and think. Roles have been reversed. Comedians have become Walter Cronkite and journalist the court jesters. All they do is spew the official government narrative and people see right through it. Worse, they react in shock - shock I tell you! - when people call them out on it.

They sulk in derisive pompous indignation about Rogan but joke's on them so to speak. These people actually sanctimoniously believe their own pseudo-intellectual gibberish about being defenders of democracy.

And what of comedians like Kimmel, Myers, Colbert, Stewart and Fallon?

They're not comedians. They're extensions of the Democrat party. Nothing they say is unique or through-provoking. They toe the official narrative line offering Milk Bones and Scooby Snacks to their low-information clapping seals. They're the court jesters for the Cheka. And now they've pulled Bill Burr into their universe. Burr er al have a huge problem with people exercising their critical thinking skills. Burr in particular seems to have a huge problem with it.

These people make you realize what kind of a seismic loss Norm MacDonald was to the craft.

It's not just comedians that have revolutionized media and given not just a voice to people but the confidence to voice their thoughts and opinions.

The authorities hate that. In Canada, Trudeau has proven to be the poster-petulant child for anti-free speech screeds by law. He cynically and tyrannically has been chipping away at it 'backdoor' style - because that's what authoritarian ego-maniacal cowards do -  with Bills C-10,11,18,36, 63. Read 'em. That's five bills that many people - citizens and experts alike -  across the ideological divide have raised concerns over.

The more they clamp down the more we see investigative journalists like Ian Carroll, George Webb, Sam Cooper, Celia Farber, Katarina Szulc and so on. And the Internet continuously evolves to five space to former journalists who have gone independent. The list of those is too numerous but Alex Berenson and Sharyl Atkinson spring to mind as examples.

It's all good for us and the truth. It's all bad for them and the curation of the truth.

The Belligerent Obnoxious "Team Canada" Approach; A 51st State As A Formality.

The geniuses ruling this sinking ship are manufacturing a crisis before our eyes. Of all available options regarding the U.S., they're choosing the worst possible option: Trade war.  A trade war we can't win.

It doesn't matter if tariffs could or would hurt the U.S. economy, it can withstand a hit. It's the most dynamic and diversified economy on earth with a highly skilled entrepreneurial class. The United States is a master economy of which we serve.

Think Rome. Washington is Rome. Ottawa is Pompeii. A playground.

We're none of those things. The people chosen to play on "Team Canada' are plumbers. Not skilled players.

They're the C-grade students who believe they deserve an A. They refuse to listen to what Trump is asking (border security) and inventing a problem assuming the tariffs are inevitable. The tariffs are the tactic to achieve it.

How daft does one have to be to not see this?

A little wise and sane reading of the room could have prevented this potential stand off. But nope. Just like how they ignore Canadians, they're ignoring the Americans. Because "Trump" and "We're not American".

They're reading what they want to read into it. They're making this political to try and score cheap "nationalism" points in hopes of looking like they're saving Canada from Trump. It's juvenile.

The 'Team Canada' approach risks dividing an already divided and fragmented country further. Who in their right mind could possibly rally around the same people who divided us? Justin Trudeau made this bed and he must be forced to lie in it.

This is a government that has no moral authority to govern or speak on behalf of Canadians. It thinks Trump will be a rallying point for them. He's not. That's how spectacularly out of touch they are. Some of us - millions - loathe Trudeau and the Liberals way more than Trump. Their economic game of chicken is going to blow up in everyone's faces.

The Liberal party should be pulverized into dust.

What the Americans wanted was win-win. Strong border.

What Canada is doing is lose-lose.

10 years of this insular 'Team Canada' approach.

An election is needed yesterday.

********

All this ties into the 51st state. Trump's constant mocking of Trudeau, while hilarious and deserved, may not be working.

Even an egoist like Trump must be surprised at the level of Trudeau's self-absorption.

The idea of Canada as a state is nothing new. We used to joke about it in hight school. In the 1980s. Everyone knew we were an "indepedentish' anchor of the U.S. empire. The country and its leaders understood this and acted accordingly. We were quiet, stable and peaceful. Sure there were challenges but nothing like today.

Alex Jones used to talk about the North American Union in his early days. It was a specialty of various "conspiracy theorists' in the 1990s. Again, their warnings were more prescient than we care to admit.

Canada, a nation that still doesn't know itself, always reacts with defensiveness whenever its bigger brother mocks it. Part of the tariff reaction is due to the country's inferiority complex towards the U.S.

The cold hard reality is Canada is a branch plant economy and society. It's already a satellite of the American empire. Its sovereignty is still tied to the UK, under the influence of China and forever linked intricately to the United States.

Act like a colony, expect to be treated as one.

Canadians don't realize they don't have a Charter of inalienable rights. They have a Charter of privileges that can be retracted at any point by the government backed by the judiciary. It's a Spreadsheet of Rights. It's useless. We also no longer have the rule of law. Or property rights.

All this was revealed during the unethical and authoritarian Covid response. Canadians concerned with how the government behaved began to look at things harder. They looked under the hood. And they didn't like what they saw. No wonder they feel it's hopeless and are willing to support a North American Union.

The choice isn't between Trump and Canada. That's a foolish false equivalence.

What Canadians need to understand is WE did this to ourselves. Trump is just a shark that smells blood.

Canada is a sexy piece of meat roaming naively in the Serengeti as predators stalk it lustfully.

Alas, we're not a people that fought for our country. We have no idea how rights work because we were handed off a jewel as a business expense. We're like Lilliputians living on a beach in French Polynesia living it up.

Until one day it's all threatened not knowing how to defend it.

The Americans fought a Revolutionary War. They invented their own system of governance. Checks and balances is an American idea. They penned the world's first great Constitution guaranteeing inalienable rights. They soon fought a bloody and violent Civil War to preserve it.

America is a country.

Canada is a colony.

Quite frankly, to me, if statehood or protectorate were to happen, it would be just a formality.

Just like how this country came into being.

Whimp, wimp, whimper.

Poo-tee-weet?

77 Days Of Despotic Rule

*Unedited. One draft. Apologies.

*********

Joe Rogan recently called Trudeau a fuckhead and cocksucker to tens of millions of listeners. He never speaks this way.

He speaks for millions.

Justin Trudeau is a spoiled, petulant, little illiberal narcissistic wannabe tinpot despotic shithead.

That's precisely what he is.

Trudeau doesn't speak for Canadians. He speaks for Justin.

He's addicted to power because he has nothing else. A deeply superficial and remarkably mediocre mind and soul.

And now he rules a colony.

See, with all available options to do right by a country, Justin did as expected and chose the worst possible choice.

Rather than resign like a man and call an election like a patriot, he chose to step aside like a wimp and prorogue Parliament like a coward.

He keeps reminding us he's a fighter.

A fighter that runs from his opponent in a ring he means.

He's no fighter. He's a self-absorbed ass.

But let's not be too harsh on this stale and sickening individual. He had help. Notably Montreal private school shmuck Gerald Butts and Chief Katie Telford. Imagine a country being run by a cynical operative named Katie.

Katie is the new Karen.

But the biggest piece of shit of them all is Jagmeet Singh (with Charlie Angus rivalling him). If not for this sharply dressed dullard, Canada wouldn't be in this mess. He has propped up the Poptart Pooper for two bloody years. And for what? For a stupid fucken dental plan that isn't free? People are leaving the dental offices thinking it was free only to find out they have the fork over the bulk of the cost. This dude gets up in front of cameras railing at the Liberals while propping them up. No principles. No honour. No shame. No nothing.

Idiots all around. No. Scratch. Stupid people rule us. And stupid people are dangerous.

Singh and Trudeau pose a greater threat to Canada than Trump ever could.

Maybe Singh's turban is too tightly wound it's squeezing out any sense that's left in his hare-brained mind.

Together, they ooze misguided arrogance having navigated a country into uncharted waters. They probably don't see what they've done.

Why would they? They clearly shut themselves off from outside opinions and dissenting views. They've insulated themselves within a bubble wrap of illiberal authoritarianism. They're digesting disinformation and spewing it right back out.

Oh, how they sing with glee for having made their little spiels on American shows. But don't you dare call Canada a 51st state! When they act like little colonials it's ok.

These scheming little nitwits have pushed Canada into a place no Commonwealth nation has gone. And still I have to hear blathering buffoons blister out the usual misplaced Canadian boastful idiocy claiming Canada is the 'best democracy in the world'.

Really, huh?

What part? The illegal use of the Emergency Act? The complete disregard and rupture of the rule of law in the SNC case and other matters? The proroguing of Parliament for what amounts to biding time for the Liberal party? A completely inappropriate misapplication of what proroguing is meant to be. Of course, do not expect the courts to side with the people when challenged.

It's Canada. We have a Charter. Not a Constitution. We have no checks and balances. Ours is a system predicated on honour. No honour, no functional democracy. And what do we have? Dishonor. And with it goes an open and transparent democracy.

Just like that. All it took was for a shnook like Justin Trudeau to mess up Canada real good.

Canadians wanted an election. But Justin refused because he knew he was going to be obliterated. The Liberal brand has turned to mush and shit.

It's a marvel it has any supporters.

Parliament was shut down in October because the Liberals refused to hand over STDC documents to the RCMP for investigation.

Canada has been plunged into political chaos as a result.

Justin Trudeau defied Parliament. READ THE WILL OF THE PEOPLE.

He's our Oliver Cromwell.

Tyrants can and do exist within a free democracy.

On what planet do we live to believe Justin has the moral authority to govern?

Alas, congratulations Canada. We're the best country in the world. Why would anyone hurt the best country in the world?

Now we're stuck until May before an election comes. Do you know how much damage Justin can do until then?

I know he's somewhat constrained but since when does he follow the rules? Justin is a deeply wounded narcissists. And when narcissists are hurt they lash out at everyone around them. Canada in this case.

He's appointing unelected morons like the boozy Rachel Notley to a Canada-USA Council. Why? Why an NDP flunky who can barely think with any moral or intellectual clarity?

The last thin you want is an NDPer talking to the new U.S. administration.

Have you seen the nominees in confirmation hearings? Hegseth and Bondi strike me as people you don't mess with. Horman is another. Bhattacharya at NIH is another.

This is Marshall Matt Dillon level stuff.

America isn't fucking around anymore. Canada thinks it's still fuck around time.

Flappy headed resource students tend to think it's always party time in Whistler.

These people have o business negotiating a lemon stand deal let alone the United States in all its new found Manifest Destiny grandiosity. Trump is intellectual and political chaos. He's nothing and everything at the same time. Principles aren't his guide. RAW POWER POLITICS is.

And Canada can't match this or him.

You think Justin Trudeau, Doug Ford, Francois Legault and Rachel Norley are going to serve Canada well?

They're 4th line plumbers.

I told a friend, after listening to their recent chest thumping stupidity that these idiots are actually going to do it. They're actually going to turn this into an unnecessary trade war. That's why they're all over left-wing liberal media. Which is the wrong move. If they really want traction go on conservative radio and shows. That's why the real audience is. They were preaching and chirping to the choir. It may stoke their fragile egos and shallow minds wanting to look cool, but it was irrelevant. You want to make an impact? Go on Rogan and Tucker. Trump wants border security. Canada responds in typical faux-nationalists thin skinned unwise and irresponsible trash talking. Its options are limited. It has little leverage. They fail to read the room.

To which the friend responded, 'Oh, they're reading the room. It's just that they're the only ones in it."

Perfect.

They listen to the voices in their heads.

And like their approach to governance was to ignore Canadians they're ignoring America's concerns.

All they know how to do is be belligerent and divisive smart asses.

All they had to do was 'Ok, Mr. President. We understand. But here are our concerns. Let's talk. Let's wheel and deal'.

Instead, they put it in their heads this was a chance to play politics. Let's pretend Trump is threatening tariffs for its sake and that it's inevitable. That way, we can position ourselves as Canadian patriots defending ourselves against America! Win!

The play here is to make 'anti-Americanism' part of the value system and apply it to foreign policy. 'We're not Americans' will be an insufferable colonial response to important demands and questions.

Malibu Melanie Joly once said, 'Our job is to be best friends with Americans'. My how things shift, eh?

If that's their game plan, then Canadians are more retarded than we ever thought  It's the exact wrong response. They strictly perceive Trump to be a bully. To them, the only way to deal with a bully is to stand up to him. But what if you misread the person? Trump uses high pressure tactics to get what he wants. The 25% tariff thing is a high pressure tactic to get border security. That's it. That's the deal he wants. Nothing complicated here.

Instead we get a face palm festival. Their push back will unleash the bully in him. He comes with a Beretta they fight back waving spears around. They invented the exact wrong move.

It's not unreasonable to believe or predict that, true to style, they’re going to make a stupid move, virtue-signal about it like their career depends on it, all the while making things exponentially worse for everyone they claim to “represent”

On a related note, marketing and salesmanship is largely foreign to Canadians, iI think. not only are these parts of entrepreneurship misunderstood, they’re vilified as being slimy skills. Because we've been trained to think business is bad. It's a default view in Quebec. People are trained by the culture to feel dirty about engaging in simple, legitimate commerce. also, this whole area is one many people never develop in no small part because of how much government funding’s funnelled into every last 'essential' initiative.

Bif Loman is going up against a wolf of Wall Street. Good luck with that.

I'll leave the 51st state angle out of this already too long rant for another post.

It's kinda ironic that for a guy who calls Canada a 'post-nation state' and is in knee deep in Chinese influence suspicion, that Trudeau is all in on 'Team Canada', no? Recall Mark Carney, who's an order of magnitude worse than Justin, considers himself a 'European'. Expand this to a global citizen. A new Soviet Man.

And so I must end this rant.

We have no one but ourselves to blame ultimately.

We believed no one could be this bad.

They can and are.

I don't know how this plays out and I still have much more to say but all I can say is 'Buckle up, Buckaroos'.

Scott the Dick and Karen the Twat are in charge.

Carney's Comical Circus Of Cynical Politics

Bring in the Carnies!

Interlope Mark Carney is a fraud. He's playing everyone. He views himself as a European before he does a Canadian? Who wouldn't want to these days Trudeau decimated the morale of a colony that badly.

Beware a man who recites Marcus Aurelius to himself in the moaning as he claimed when he was the head taco at the Bank of England. Hard to believe, but Carney's ego may surpass Trudeau's. Carbon tax Carney's a "climate change" zealot and grifter of the highest order.

He's so bad at this he's already made some boneheaded errors.

First, after giving permits for journalists to attend his announcement, speaking in front of a carefully selected bunch of diverse mannequins, speech, goons blocked them from getting in.

That's a huge red flag. Denying the press access is precisely how I'd expect an illiberal like Carney to behave. Recall, he congratulated Esby - a communist - for winning B.C. but said nothing to Scott Moe and his victory in Saskatchewan.

He shows his colours and a leopard doesn't change his spots.

Second, he stole his logo from a company called Met Credit. Another red flag: Lack of original thought. But he doesn't need that because he has an agenda to continue laid out by Justin and his father before him.

Third, he announced in what looks like a gymnasium. The great millionaire banister who rides in a limo like a big shot....packs in a gym. Could you imagine any American leader speaking in such a venue? We're not a serious colony.

Fourth, this is a guy that's being installed by the Liberal party and who could very well become the first unelected PM since john Turner. The Canadian political system needs an enema and major overhaul.

Fifth, in his mind-numbingly boring and blah, blah, speech, he said he was going to be "completely focused" on the economy to 'get it back on track.'

Gonna need a flame thrower here! WHO PULLED IT OFF TRACK? Right, Justin Trudeau and Chrystia Freeland. Who has been advising the government from behind the scenes? Right, that would be Carney. Him and his endless stream of conflicts of interest. Look up the Telstar scam. America gets Musk's Starlink, we get....more corruption and second-rate services. Carney is going to be nothing he claims to be. It should be painfully obvious to see.

So many players in this Canadian Fiasco. Telford, Butts, Justin, Chrystia. Imagine dividing a country like I've never seen. Now that's dedication and talent.

Oh, but he was so charming and funny on The Daily Show! Let's see you in an unscripted setting like Rogan, Mark. Of course, they would never do that. Too icky for them. This is a Liberal establishment that doesn't read anything outside the MSNBC/CNN hive. And it shows to embarrassing heights.

Why are he and Justin doing the U.S. rounds but not Canadian? Obviously there's some scheming going on. Anyway I hope to get to writing on Justin and what I think of him in one last post as well as what I think of 'Team Canada' and their juvenile, noxious and stupid strategy on how the flapping heads are gonna deal with Trump. Woo Team Canada! For now, we have to watch Malibu Melanie Joly make an ass of herself showing how much lack of talent and intelligence exists in this retarded party.

Do yourselves a favor, Read up on this guy. He's a tedious, uninspiring technocrat who speaks kooky Marxist gibberish.

Are Canadians clueless and dimwitted enough to fall for this transparently amateurish act? Carney doesn't offer anything but a continuity of more of the same.

His vibe is off. Way off.

And full of shit.

In a party of shit.

Maybe we deserve shit.

As one person put it, this country needs an enema.
