More On Assange And Other Things

If Assange goes down, we all go down. The landscape of what constitutes freedom of the press will change. It will be another major blow to freedom of speech and the First Amendment. It will send shock waves. The disinformation state will establish an upper hand. They're going to get Assange on something. They've piled on the charges including the Espionage Act. Obama, incidentally, charged more people under the Act than all Presidents combined since 1917. Obama played a major role in expanding the Leviathan against citizens where freedom of speech is concerned. For that, he's ranked as the 7th best President in history (and Trump last) by 145 left-wing liberal professors. I mention this because it's a survey that's been shared by media in Quebec. Of course, Quebec would embrace this because its mindset is essentially MSNBC. 

Here, Trudeau is out spreading disinformation about how 'conspiracy theorists' pose a threat to corporate media. 

What we're going to see is the media fall harder in line with the state with Pravda and Izvestia playing off each other. They're going bankrupt as few people trust or read them. They need to survive and so the play here is to convince people if journalism dies so too goes democracy and therefore we need to crush dissent and bail them out through taxes and subsidies.

Ironically, it's Assange that has done more for democracy than useless scribes like Taylor Lorenz and Bruce Arthur. He provided citizens the key fundamental principle that sustains a democracy: Transparency. And with transparency comes accountability.

And what do petty despots like Trudeau do? They attempt to cover up and block transparency that way they don't account.

But where have you seen Canadian 'media' demand transparency and accountability?

Sure there are important alternative and independent sources like Blalock's Reporter and some journalists but the general overall sentiment among the established corporate media papers ranges from tepid to silent Indeed, papers like the Star and the CBC are fine with it because a) it's their guy and b) they need the bribes. Everything is watered down. 

Doesn't anyone find it odd that papers like the NYT and Guardian who published Assange's leaks aren't targeted? Know why? Because the 'news' we get is carefully curated. Everyone knows the CIA plays the media like a fiddle. 

But we don't kill journalists in the Five Eyes. Uh-huh. We follow the rule of law and due process. Wink.

These are the stupid people who threaten democracy. Not the true journalists revealing the facts about what our governments are doing. 

Aside from media, we have Jagmeet to thank for the last three years that have seen this country sink to levels I never thought possible.

COVID stats. 1 million U.S. deaths. 7 million globally. Remove the U.S. and its 6 million. Divide that into 8 billion. The U.S. represents 15% of global deaths. How does that happen? 

Spread out over four years. Not exactly the killer pandemic that threatened our existence I would say. But then again, this was known from the get-go. There just was too much money to be made and power to grab to let this opportunity pass.

Now. We all know the vast majority of deaths happened with people aged over 75, in nursing homes, and in hospitals where protocols included the use of dangerous drugs like remdisivir, as well as midazolam and using ventilators for patients with, wait for it, respiratory illnesses. 

We ruined the civil order for this?

On the truckers. It's amazing It really is. 

POEC and a Federal Court have now seen the evidence. They BOTH concluded there was no threat to national security with the later ruling there was no justification for the EA and therefore acted illegally since it abused the Charter.

These are facts. There was NO 'government coup'. 

Yet.

There are 'journalists' out there who still chirp on about how the 'freedumbers' wanted to topple the shitty little government of a colony infested with a good number of Pavlovian Dogs. 

Guys like Luke Lebron, Max Fawcett and David Moscrop.

All guys I never heard of - remember I don't follow Canadian 'media' all that much. And you are they cocky about being disingenuous defenders of misinformation. 

If the truckers did indeed attempt such a 'coup' I would have accepted those facts. But as it turns out, it isn't. So note sure why these people are clinging to bull shit like this.
