I was listening to Canada Talks on Sirius earlier today. During a news update from The Canadian Press - I believe the reporter was Dawn or Donna Kelly. I was driving and I have bad hearing but it sounded like that was the name - report about how the five Memphis cops charged with second-degree murder pleaded not guilty.
What was interesting was how she made sure the victim was black but did not mention that the former officers (thugs) were also black.
This is how media misplays you.
It has to keep its narrative going.
This is a story that has no racial component but they have to somehow make it about race.
Had she been honest she would have either everyone's race or none. It's an all-or-nothing kind of deal since they were all black.
But saying it was a crime where blacks killed a black man is a no-no in these charged-up times. We're a slave to narratives and the casualty is truth.
Saying only the victim was black leaves an opening in the listener's mind that he was a victim of racists. And this is the cynical part of the manipulation. They assume you won't go and read the details.
There you have it.
That's how they play mind games with the facts and truth.
Don't be a useful idiot.
