The other day I passed by a restaurant I was surprised was still open. It once had a sterling reputation but by this time was coasting along on its reputation. It apparently even changed hands a couple of times.
Then, for some reason, the Pulitzer Prize (and other awards be it Oscar or Nobel) popped into my head. It occurred to me the restaurant was the Pulitzer of dining. That is, the Pulitzer is living off its past too now.

My daughter didn't win in her bid to become Treasury of her school. She campaigned hard but lost to a kid one grade up.
I then told her the best way to deal with defeat is to start making noise and unsubstantiated claims while protesting to make rule changes. While she was at it, she could blame the Russians.
In other words, I was being facetious and making the point of don't act like Democrats when you lose.
There's losing with grace and honor after a hard fought race.
And then there's just being a loser.
Democrats are losers.
I don't like the way they're behaving since 2016 at all. Doubly for the Liberals up here.

Saw a 'Make Obama President Again' sticker.

Mediocrity, incompetence and scandals? More of that you want?
This on the day the NYT was forced to finally - after several places already did doing all the heavy work - acknowledge Obama did spy on Trump. Of course, I already discussed this a few months back because of a Politico article covering this scandal.
Are people this partisan to the point of blind support?

All these people on the progressive left looking to erase history by removing portraits, paintings, statues or sanitizing and censoring literature and speech have more in common with Al-Queda than they think.
What do you think they were doing when they destroyed those statues? Al-Queda thought they were on the 'right side' of the issue too.
It's wrong think and in order to usher in a new regime, you need to disconnect people from their past.
I don't see any of this as being principled but just plain Fahrenheit 451 crap.
