In three municipal elections - Montreal, Laval, Rosemere - none of the candidates I felt each municipality needed were elected. In Montreal and Rosemere thee voters opted for entrenched power. Which means the status quo and the status quo is not what's needed there. What a shame. Laval politics is so dirty I honestly don't think any candidate would make a difference at this point.
More often than not my party or candidates don't win and already those who do hardly speak of the issues important to me.
Is this what they call disenfranchisement?
We get the governance we deserve.
