I never eat a piece of cheese. I tend to consume cheese in conjunction with another food item like in a burger or sprinkled onto something (in very select circumstances) or to cook with.

ReplyDeleteMy father introduced me to eating really sharp cheeses. I learned later that it was best to eat cheese in conjunction with wine. Not because cheese clears the palate but because the wine mitigates the.. uh.. "blocking" effect that cheese has on the gastrointestinal system.
Imagine taking a grater to your feet.
