Public Health Agency Of Canada Is Not Being Honest With Canadians

Something is amiss in Canada.

Even in the United States.

The CDC' is all over the map at this point. Its new director recently said people don't need the vaccine (which is welcomed news because it may put a dent into this vaccination papers madness trend) while Fauci retracted his double mask nonsense which Legault blindly repeated. It would appear Fauci is also an expert of the flip flop.

It's a mess.

If you're changing opinion this often you're either incompetent or lying.

Canada's recent measures should raise concern for the country.

Specifically, we continue to have lockdowns in Quebec (along with a curfew likely to persist into the spring) and Ontario while Ottawa recently imposed travel restrictions.

But these measures are running contrary to the available and actual data of the situation.

Two key metrics are of interest. The R-value and asymptomatic spread. The R-value in Canada is below 1. This means spread is not likely to grow exponentially. So why is there a curfew in Quebec?

They're playing up the 'variants' but if we're going to constantly run in fear, we may as well live our lives according to the virus at this point. There is a precautionary principle and then there's a hysterias version of it. The latter is prevailing and keeping people in fear.

An R-value below 1 also suggests herd immunity has been attained. SARS-Cov 2 has a reproductive value anywhere from 2 to 6 making it a tad more transmissible than influenza's range. In addition, a 2.5. R-value suggest a 60% herd immunity threshold. If we're at below 1, that would suggest a 25%-30% for this virus. Which may explain why Walensky of the CDC said vaccination is not necessary. The 30% number, by the way, has been the figure reputable experts outside the political machine have been saying all along since at least May of 2020 and not the 70%-90% range Fauci has been promoting. I expect Fauci to adjust this downwards. 

So what will our government do now because I find it hard to believe they have no arrived at this conclusion and just not telling the public. 

Onto, the travel restrictions also don't make sense.

1) McMaster University conducted the largest study on air travel in the world and made its recommendations based on the findings that transmission from air travel is low.. So why is the government doing the exact opposite and not following data?

2) The idea is to stop new variants from entering, however, it is rejecting negative tests being presented by some travellers. The restrictions also appears to be predicated on the increasingly debunked idea of asymptomatic spread as a main driver of outbreaks (we've known it isn't for months now with it being unclear if not rare among several studies including from the W.H.O.). Again, why is the Canadian government ignoring readily available evidence?

3) In a recent spat with a minister, Doug Ford in a sloppy response containing part ad hominem and part defensive cynicism, pointed to the CFR as a reason why he must continue to take a bat to the heads of Ontarians. Problem is, CFR is an outdated metric. The more relevant one is the IFR and the IFR is simply not high enough to justify his measures - or any measure in Canada for that matter. 

4) We all know the restrictions and mandatory quarantining will not apply to politicians. This obviously undermines the whole initiative does it not? 

The Canadian government is picking and choosing which data they want to use to continue spreading fear.

There's no other way to look at this.

I called the Public Health Agency. The agent could not answer any of these questions and couldn't explain why the restrictions were put in place. Just the amount of transparency you'd expect from Trudeau and Tam.

Either they know the situation is better than what they claim and they're using this as a political toy to use on the campaign trail - that is, they want to play it in a way so that they take credit for saving Canada by hyping it and so by the time the measures end they claim victory. Even though the virus had already been receding - or there's indeed a Global Reset Agenda.
