Question

Do people actually believe they're saving the environment when they bring their own bags to the grocery store?

I always pay the five cents for the plastic bag. They're perfect for throwing diapers away (and food) at the daycare. Saves me money.

My daughter's school is one of those "reusable water bottles, litterless lunch" type of school.

Who says it's the "right thing"? Not me! I love plastic bags (and they should remain free, unless a store chooses to charge for them, not imposed by the state). I take issue with the notion that my choice not to bring my own politically correct bags to the store when I shop is somehow less "right" than conforming to the "progressive" fascist green machine.
