Answer: liberty.

Democracy... while it lasts is more bloody than either aristocracy or monarchy. Remember, democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There is never a democracy that did not commit suicide. -John Adams

I tend to agree.

Democracy can be manipulated into destroying liberty. It's already happened in North America.

How many nations in the world claim to be a "democracy" but aren't in reality and practice?
