I can't stress this enough. Castro was not a revolutionary. He's one of the 20th century's all-time greatest thief amassing a fortune (Forbes once estimated it in the billions if memory serves me correct) off the backs of Cubans.
Western liberals, of course, love to talk about capitalist exploitation but tend to completely ignore real examples of theft by communist and socialists (see Venezuela).
Since the election of Trump on November 8 and now the death of a dictator, it's astonishing and troubling to witness (in addition to energizing me) in the flesh the moral and intellectual bankruptcy of people giving into so easily their emotions.
