I got it!

I finally know who Horatio on CSI Miami reminds me of. The Count of Monte Cristo!

The cold, calculating manner in which he speaks, his inner-motivations, sense of personal vengeance and all that. Only he does not seem to believe in God's Providence like the good Count did.

The main difference is that The Count was less irritating and instilled fear. Horatio's not foolin' anyone with that red hair.

  1. That's funny! David Caruso has always played his characters in such a way that I think he turns the character into him. His style is much the same on SCI as it was on NYPD Blue. Big difference in the quality of writing between the two shows though. The one-liners on all the CSI shows are tough for any of the actors to pull off.

  5. Comment deleted? Who did that?

Anyway, no I don't. I think it's brutal. Same with Sex in the City and Gimore Girls.
